In general all of our races incorporate plotting UTM coordinates. Prior to the race and sometimes during the race you will be given UTM coordinates which you will plot on the map to determine where the Checkpoints (CP's) are located. After plotting the CP's you will use your map and compass to navigate the course. Typically the navigation gets harder for longer races. 6 Hour races are definitely designed for novice racers and those new to the sport.
